After many years, there's a new single from Dead Can Dance, called Nāda. It seems to be Brendan Perry track, that continues their classic instrumental sound. Worth a listen, if you're a fan.
"Nāda means sound or flow in Sanskrit. Nāda Yoga is based on the premise that the entire cosmos and all that exists therin, including humans, are made up of vibrations, called nada. This concept maintains that it is the energy of vibrations, which make the particles of matter and form the building blocks of the cosmos."
"According to this tradition, these vibrations are classified into two types, silent vibrations of the inner self (anahata), and sound / music (ahata), both of which carry a spiritual weight more meaningful, respectively, than what sensory properties normally provide. They are considered to play a potential medium/intermediary role to achieve a deeper unity with both the outer and inner cosmos."

Captain Sensible, of The Damned, recommended The Goundhogs when he was being interviewed on a podcast. We hadn't heard them before and had to check them out.
