Poem for Lost Records

What lasts, what survives, and what reemerges from the shadows?

To be found again, with fresh eyes, and remembered in many facets… this is history’s infinite movie.  Through omnidirectional portals, where does consciousness meet time?  In the hallways of our mind, fed from the mass of collective cultures.  Bodies with holographic memories, like antennae of some larger cosmic mind, susceptible to subtle impressions, from the complex of lifetimes.

What is remembered and when?  Gaps in the historical archives become gaps in our own consciousness.  How much more is submerged in the half-light?  We continue to grow and change.  In spite of death and time, until there is no more forgetting, we must keep remembering our way forward.
